Fire Investigators – 10/21/2015

The Board opines that fire investigators are required to obtain a private investigator license in accordance with Section 34-25B-2 Definitions that states, “Private Investigation – The compensated act of any individual or company engaging in the business of obtaining or furnishing information with reference to any of the following:….(d) The cause or responsibility for fires, losses, accidents, damages, or injuries to persons or property.”
